Exterior Painting
The key to any paint job is good preparation. All exterior jobs that we do always start with covering the surrounding areas with drop cloths and or plastic. Any masking then is done and the project is ready to commence. All surfaces to be painted are thoughoughly prepared by sanding, scraping, brushing, pressure washed, or a combination of all four. Any caulking that needs to be done will be done at this time. The next step is priming. Any exposed wood is primed with only the highest quality primer. Primer sets the foundation for the final coat of paint, kills any mildew, and covers up stains that exposed wood can create. The final step is painting. We will do as many coats as the customer wants. One coat is usually more than adequate if the preparation and priming are done properly. |
